Conquest

Conquest is a Viltrumite in the Invincible comics who arrives on Earth to inspect Mark Grayson's supposed takeover of the planet while Mark is cleaning up after Angstrom Levy's attack. Defying his mission parameters, he attacks Mark, badly injures Oliver and nearly kills Eve when they try to help. Mark believes him dead, but Cecil secretly keeps Conquest's body to interrogate him about the Viltrum Empire; Conquest escapes and returns to the empire, where Grand Regent Thragg orders him to kill Mark, Nolan and Oliver. During the Viltrumite War he fights Invincible a second time and is finally killed when Mark, again gravely injured, strangles him.
