Viltrumite Empire

The Viltrumite Empire is an intergalactic empire of the Viltrumite race, an extraterrestrial species of superhuman beings. The empire's goal is to conquer planets and add them to its domain, as seen when Omni-Man was sent to Earth not to protect it, but to conquer it and make it part of the Viltrum Empire. The empire is led by a Grand Regent, with Grand Regent Thragg being a key leader. The Viltrumite Empire is eventually challenged from within when Mark Grayson and his father Nolan lead a small group of defectors against Thragg. After Thragg's death, Nolan survives and later leaves Earth with Debbie to settle on a colony world, while Mark declines to rule; the surviving Viltrumites are instead led by a council and rebuild their society on the original Viltrum, guiding their people into a new era of peace across the universe.
