Reader's Guide
Immortal is a superhuman who has served as the leader of the Guardians of the Globe. His defining characteristic is his ability to be revived after death, as demonstrated when the Mauler Twins resurrected him following Omni-Man's initial attack. He possesses super strength and durability, allowing him to engage powerful foes like Omni-Man, though he was ultimately defeated and killed a second time in that confrontation. His role in the series is tied to the Guardians of the Globe: he was their original leader, was killed, revived, killed again, and then revived once more to serve on a new iteration of the team formed by Robot under the Global Defense Agency's authority.
