Kakin Empire
A fast-rising kingdom on the Azian Continent that bankrolls the Dark Continent expedition.
Kakin is a kingdom in the middle of the Azian Continent. It grew rapidly after switching from social imperialism to a parliamentary democracy thirty years before the story, in what was called the Most Silent Revolution in History, and has since sought influence abroad.
Lore & Background
Its ruler, King Nasubi Hui Guo Rou, sponsors Beyond Netero's expedition to the Dark Continent. In response the V5, the five most powerful nations, offer Kakin a seat on their council and rename it the V6 so they can control the expedition and its spoils. Nasubi is charismatic in public but hides a ruthless side, showing no remorse at having his own children killed in the succession game among his princes.
The first prince, Benjamin, is Nasubi's eldest son by his first wife Unma. As Deputy Military Adviser of the Kakin Royal Army he can assign his personal guards to the other princes, and his Nen ability lets him inherit the abilities of members of his private army when they die, provided they graduated from Kakin's Royal Military Academy and swore loyalty to him.
