Visenya Targaryen
Aegon's sister-wife, and the stillborn princess named after her.
Visenya Targaryen was one of the two sister-wives of Aegon the Conqueror. Three hundred years before the novels, Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys invaded the Westerosi mainland from Dragonstone and, with their three dragons, conquered six of the Seven Kingdoms, the seventh joining through marriage; one of the three hills of King's Landing is named after her. In House of the Dragon the dragon Vhagar is described as historically bonded to Queen Visenya during Aegon's Conquest and later to Prince Baelon.

Background
The name is reused in House of the Dragon: after King Viserys dies and Aegon II usurps the throne, Rhaenyra gives birth to a stillborn daughter, Princess Visenya Targaryen, by Daemon, and it is at the child's funeral that Daemon crowns Rhaenyra as rightful Queen. Rhaenyra also promises that in time her allies will be given a house on Visenya's Hill.
