Ambrose Island is a fictional island in the Andaman Sea and the setting of Shadows in the Water, a HITMAN 2 mission added in a free update on July 26, 2022.

Background
The island is rough, overgrown terrain of cliffs, ravines, villages, docks, militia camps and caves, lawless and held by pirates and guerrillas. In Shadows in the Water Lucas Grey asks 47 and Diana to eliminate his lieutenant Noel Crest, whose militia cell has gone rogue and teamed up with the pirates to steal a control unit for an Ether satellite; to give the ICA a cover story, 47 must also kill the pirates' leader Sinhi 'Akka' Venthan. It was one of Wazir Kale's old ports of call.
