Cittagazze
A fictional city where Lyra and Will first meet.
Cittàgazze, also called Ci'gazze, is a fictional seaside city in a parallel universe, reached through a window created by Lord Asriel. It is where Lyra and Will first meet in The Subtle Knife. The city, reminiscent of Mediterranean towns, features the Torre degli Angeli and is plagued by Spectres, which prey on adults, leaving the city populated mostly by children. The Spectres proliferate due to the use of the Subtle Knife and Asriel's opening of the passage.
