Asia's supernatural life began when she was targeted by Freed Sellzen, who was acting under orders from Diodora Astaroth to capture her. The initial attack was orchestrated by Diodora, not a random rogue Fallen Angel. Issei Hyoudou arrived after Freed had already stabbed Asia, and she died in Issei's arms before being revived as a Reincarnated Devil by Rias Gremory using a Bishop Evil Piece. She then joined their peerage as a servant, utilizing her Sacred Gear 'Twilight Healing' to heal wounds.
Her power, while a rare healing-type Sacred Gear, is not a Longinus-class Sacred Gear. Her existence took a dark turn when she was tricked into accepting a Bishop Evil Piece willingly, though under false pretenses, by Diodora Astaroth, a member of the Old Satan faction. This period marked her most tragic arc, where she was brainwashed and manipulated, but retained her memories, only to be eventually saved through the collective will of her friends.
Her story serves as a poignant exploration of redemption, illustrating that even those touched by darkness can return to the light.
