The Hellsing Organization is a secret paramilitary group dedicated to combating vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural foes that threaten England. It is named after and centered around the "Royal Order of Protestant Knights", originally led by Abraham Van Helsing. The organization is led by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who inherited leadership as a child after witnessing her father's murder. She is protected by the faithful Hellsing family butler Walter C. Dornez and Alucard, the original and most powerful vampire, who swore loyalty to the Hellsing family after being defeated by Van Helsing one hundred years before the story takes place. It is led by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who inherited leadership after her father's murder. Her primary assets are Alucard, the original and most powerful vampire bound to the Hellsing family, and Walter C. Dornez, the family butler and a deadly fighter. Former police officer Seras Victoria joins after being turned into a vampire by Alucard. The organization's headquarters is Hellsing Manor in London. Their major conflict is with Millennium, a Nazi group that creates a vampire battalion, leading to a three-sided war in London with the Vatican's Iscariot section. The organization's goal is to destroy supernatural threats to England, using Alucard as their ultimate weapon.
