Playing career
Glass played junior hockey for the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League from 2002 to 2005. After the 2004–05 season, he received the Del Wilson Trophy as the WHL's top goaltender, was named to the WHL First All-Star team, and was named CHL Goaltender of the Year. That year he started for Canada at the 2005 World Junior Championships, going 5–0 with a 1.40 goals against average and helping Canada win its first gold medal at the tournament since 1997. Drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2004, Glass signed a three-year entry-level contract after his 2004–05 season. He spent most of 2005–06 with the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers, then moved full-time to the AHL's Binghamton Senators in 2006–07. Over three seasons there, he shared time with Kelly Guard and Brian Elliott, posting a 42–67–9 record. Becoming a free agent after 2008–09, Glass signed with Barys Astana of the KHL in August 2009. In 2009–10 he had a 19–11–4 record with a 2.87 GAA and .918 save percentage; Astana lost its first-round playoff series to Ak Bars Kazan. He signed with Spartak Moscow before 2013–14 but was sold to CSKA Moscow in January 2014 due to team financial problems. In July 2014 he signed a one-year contract with Lada Togliatti. For 2015–16 he joined Dinamo Minsk, and in December 2015 he represented Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, helping win the title.
