Rescue of Buckbeak Hippogriff
Harry and Hermione save the hippogriff.
In Prisoner of Azkaban, Draco Malfoy is injured during a Care of Magical Creatures lesson after provoking Hagrid's hippogriff Buckbeak, and the Ministry of Magic sentences Buckbeak to death. On Dumbledore's advice, Harry and Hermione use her Time-Turner to go back to the moment before the execution, while the injured Ron stays in the hospital wing. They rescue Buckbeak and free Sirius Black, who flies away on him, still a wanted man.
