Forgotten Gods is the second expansion for Grim Dawn, announced in March 2018 and released on March 27, 2019. It requires Ashes of Malmouth. The story leaves the Erulan Empire behind for desert sands, oases and volcanic wastes, where the flames of a forgotten god have been relit.
Background
The expansion added the Oathkeeper mastery and the Shattered Realm, an endless mode of increasingly difficult maps. It also brought a new story chapter, four factions, nine constellations, mobility skills through Rune Augments on medals, set transmutation at the Inventor, difficulty merits and hundreds of new items.
