Archmage Aleksander
The Aetherial Vanguard's Nemesis, an ultra boss from Ashes of Malmouth.
Archmage Aleksander is the Nemesis of the Aetherial Vanguard faction in Grim Dawn, added with the Ashes of Malmouth expansion. The wiki classes him as an ultra boss, so players should come prepared before taking him on. He can appear in several Malmouth areas, among them the Malmouth Sewers, Candle District, Crown Hill, Steelcap District and Malmouth Harbor.
Background
Aleksander is listed as Human by family and Aetherial Vanguard by genus. He fights with aether, elemental and physical damage, using skills such as Spit Aetherfire, a nova version of Panetti's Replicating Missile, Aether Skyshard and Summon Aether Shard. He can drop one of two Monster Infrequent leg armor pieces, Aleksander's Chausses or Aleksander's Legguards.
