Premise
Kaput and Zösky are a pair of would-be galactic tyrants who travel from planet to planet with the goal of conquest. They are not very good at it. They rarely manage to take over a world, and when they do, they cannot hold it for long. The two spend nearly as much time fleeing as they do committing acts of violence and enslavement. Kaput is a short, stocky brute with a bright red mohawk and a hot temper. His preferred solution to any problem is to “crisperize” everything. Zösky is tall and thin, with yellow antennae, and fancies himself a clever intellectual who always has a scheme. Their adventures almost always end the same way: a frantic escape in their shabby little spaceship, trailing red smoke.
Characters
Kaput is the shorter, rounder half of the pair, a total opposite to Zösky. Where Zösky is neat, careful, and precise, Kaput thrives on chaos and prefers to shoot first. He sports a messy red mohawk and a noticeable underbite. His crisperizer and the buttons on his clothes are red, and his boots are short. Most characters look down on Kaput because of his stout build and his behavior. He also has an allergy to moles, which makes him puff up whenever one is nearby. Rick Jones provides his voice. Zösky is the taller, thinner member and the one who makes the plans. He knows a lot about things Kaput cannot handle, and Kaput’s constant messing around easily gets on his nerves. He comes from the planet Lamamma and would rather use his brain than force to get what he wants. Zösky is lanky, with yellow antennae that look like bunny ears and eyes that are always squinting. His crisperizer and shirt buttons are yellow, and he wears high boots. Some characters find him good-looking, likely because of his British accent and smooth manners. Contrary to what some assume, Zösky hates carrots, even though they think he is a rabbit who would love them. Mark Camacho voices him. Crazy Joe is a wild, grimy mercenary who chases Kaput and Zösky with the goal of creaming them. The reason is never explained, though it might be linked to Kaput borrowing a huge sum of money from him. At one point, he was brainwashed into being their servant, but he snapped out of it and went back to hunting them. He is short and built like Kaput, has a tan, and has tentacles where his legs should be. His ship looks like the one Kaput and Zösky use. Sometimes, he is forced to team up with them, like when all three ended up in a mental asylum. The Office Lady helps the duo when they try to take over the office planet. She wears a suit and a helmet that covers her head with air, and she translates complaints from employees to Kaput and Zösky. Near the end of her time with them, she warned them to leave before lawyers showed up to start proceedings about damaged work equipment and attempted intimidation. Helen King voices her.
