Characters

Blake Myers is a 13-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a space ranger and is passionate about extreme sports. His parkour skills help him escape the Squaliens, and he shows little sympathy for the conceited Leonard, often using questionable methods to defeat him. Mitch de la Cruz is Blake's Mexican American best friend who values their friendship above all else and becomes jealous when Blake's attention shifts elsewhere. A genius inventor, Mitch creates gadgets to aid Blake and stands as the first obstacle for the Squaliens. Maxus is the bossiest and shortest of the Squalien trio, Jerome's older brother and the General's nephew. Though he appears foolish, he is a technological genius; the General calls him the team leader, though Leonard actually holds that role, and Maxus has attempted to claim it. Jerome is the jovial, absent-minded, and polite dimwit of the trio, Maxus's younger brother and the General's nephew. He often falls in love with inanimate objects and is mocked for his kindness, but he is highly intelligent and possesses the most knowledge about humans. Jerome studies Earth's flora and fauna, sometimes genetically modifying them to use against Blake, and serves as a buffer between Leonard and Maxus.
