Plot

Robotboy, the latest creation of scientist Professor Moshimo, is entrusted to 10-year-old Tommy Turnbull in San Francisco to keep him from being captured by Dr. Kamikazi and his henchman Constantine. Tommy and his friends Gus and Lola protect Robotboy as he learns human behavior while battling Kamikazi's attempts to seize him.

Characters

Robotboy, voiced by Laurence Bouvard, is the main character and a robot built by Professor Moshimo to protect the world after Protoboy was taken and reprogrammed by Dr. Kamikazi. He lives with Tommy Turnbull for safety and considers him his best friend. Tommy, voiced by Lorraine Pilkington, is a ten-year-old who owns Robotboy and serves as his sensible, kind mentor, though his father thinks he is too nerdy and inactive. Tommy’s best friend is Augustus "Gus" Bachman Turner, voiced by Rupert Degas, a goofy, naive boy from an Amish family who loves food and video games and often acts rude and selfish. Lola Mbola, voiced by Laurence Bouvard, is the ten-year-old daughter of an African ambassador, confident and skilled with planes and boats. Professor Akira Moshimo, voiced by Togo Igawa, created Robotboy, Robotgirl, Protoboy, and Robotman. His girlfriend and lab assistant Miu-Miu, voiced by Laurence Bouvard, is usually silent but speaks once. Robotgirl, also voiced by Bouvard, is Robotboy’s younger sister. The main villain is Dr. Otomo Kamikazi II, voiced by Eiji Kusuhara, a self-proclaimed evil genius who wants Robotboy to build an army for world domination. His hunchbacked henchman Constantine, voiced by Rupert Degas, is a sumo wrestling master. Tommy’s older brother Donnie, voiced by Degas, bullies everyone and is sometimes used by Dr. Kamikazi.
