Reader's Guide
Gilgamesh originates in Final Fantasy V as a lieutenant of Exdeath. He later turns from adversary to ally, optionally returning to aid the party against Necrophobe. He has a winged underling named Enkidu, who fights alongside him only once. This bond drives many of his quests for legendary weapons like Excalibur and the Zantetsuken, which he often wields to great effect.
