A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish

Plot

Katherine "Kat" Decker is a seventeen-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a famous singer-songwriter. After her father Jason dies, she is placed in the custody of her cruel stepmother Deirdre and stepsisters Joy and Grace, who force her to work as a servant, control her inheritance, and take most of her wages to supposedly care for her disabled dog Bruno. Kat works at Santa Land, a Christmas entertainment park, as a singer and songwriter alongside her best friend Isla, under strict boss Mr. Mujiza. There she meets a teenage boy playing Santa, who is actually Dominic "Nick" Wintergarden, son of billionaire Terrence Wintergarden. Nick is smitten after seeing Kat perform and later confides that he manages bands but has not told his father. Deirdre learns that Terrence was Kat's late father's best friend and schemes to gain invitations to Terrence's charity event by pretending to be Jason's widow. A letter from Terrence requests both Deirdre and Katherine Decker, so Joy impersonates Kat while the real Kat stays home. Nick gives Kat an invitation to the event, and she accepts. He reveals his true identity and encourages her to do the same, but she does not. Isla hand-sews a green dress for Kat, but her stepfamily steals it and Deirdre burns the invitation. Kat goes to Nick's home to sing with his friend but receives an unfriendly reception from his friends, especially his girlfriend Skyler, and leaves.
