Premise

Teenager Hideki Nishimura plays the MMORPG Legendary Age (LA). After a traumatic online proposal where the girl revealed she was a man, he swore off in-game marriages.

Two years later, he reluctantly accepts a proposal from his persistent guildmate Ako. When the guild holds its first real-life meeting, Hideki discovers all his teammates are girls who attend his school. The story follows their school club and Hideki's efforts to help Ako separate fantasy from reality.

Characters

Hideki Nishimura, a first-year high school student, plays as Rusian, a male knight in Legendary Age. Initially distrustful of female players, he becomes Ako's in-game husband after her repeated proposals and later develops real feelings for her. Outside the game, he is an otaku. Ako Tamaki, the cover girl, is a shy, often-absent schoolmate who plays as Ako, a female cleric.

She struggles to distinguish the game world from reality, believing she is Hideki's actual wife, and occasionally reacts with hostility toward non-gamers. Despite her reclusiveness, she is the only guild member who can cook. Akane Segawa, a petite blonde classmate, initially despises otakus but secretly plays as Schwein, a male knight. Her character name means "pig" in German, which she learns from Kyo.

Popular at school, she turns down boys to maximize gaming time. Kyō Goshōin, the student council president and guild leader of the Alley Cats, plays as Apricot, a male mage. She sponsors the school's game club. Nanako Akiyama is also a character.
