Changyuraptor is a genus of four-winged, predatory dinosaurs known from a single fossil specimen representing the species Changyuraptor yangi. Discovered from Early Cretaceous (125 million year old) deposits in Liaoning Province, China, it belongs to the group of dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaurs called the Microraptoria. At the time of its discovery, Changyuraptor was the largest four-winged dinosaur known and among the largest Mesozoic flying paravians, with volant true birds seldom approaching its size.

The fossil, holotype HG B016, was discovered by farmers near Xijianchang in the Yixian Formation of the Jehol Biota in Liaoning Province, China. From 2012 it was studied by an international team led by Dr. Luis Chiappe of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The holotype consists of a rather complete skeleton with skull, compressed on a plate and counterplate, showing extensive remains of pennaceous feathers. In 2014, the specimen was described as the new genus and species Changyuraptor yangi, with the generic name combining Chinese words for 'long feather' and Latin for 'robber', and the specific name honoring researcher Professor Yang Yandong.
