Mermaid's Voice

Masters of melody, guarding the world from the depths of the sea with forbidden songs.

Mermaid's Voice is a mages' guild located on the remote Mermaid's Rest island in the southern seas of Fiore. Unlike most guilds that operate openly, this organization functions as a secret society dedicated to protecting the world from catastrophic threats through their unique abilities. They are renowned for their mastery over sound-based magic and their strict code of conduct regarding the use of forbidden arts.

Lore & Background

Despite their secretive nature, Mermaid's Voice has played pivotal roles in major conflicts within the Fairy Tail universe. Their members are known for their unwavering loyalty to the guild's cause, often sacrificing personal desires for the greater good. The guild's exclusive focus on sound magic creates a unique synergy among its members, allowing them to perform complex coordinated attacks that few other groups can match.

Reader's Guide

Members can generate powerful sonic waves capable of shattering stone or disrupting enemy magic. Their water techniques are often enhanced by sound frequencies, creating illusions or controlling the flow of liquids with precision. The guild operates as a protective force, intervening only when ancient threats emerge. Wielders must undergo rigorous training to control their magic without causing unintended collateral damage.
