Reader's Guide

Quatro Cerberus emerged as a notorious dark guild during the Grand Magic Games era, operating under the shadowy leadership of Ivan Dreyar. Unlike typical rogue organizations hiding in secrecy, they boldly entered the public tournament to further their hidden agenda involving Zeref and immortality. The guild structure was tight-knit, centered around five core members who possessed unique magical abilities ranging from poison manipulation to high-speed combat.

Their philosophy revolved around harnessing forbidden power, specifically seeking the secrets behind Zeref’s existence. Ivan Dreyar claimed a familial bond with the Black Wizard, driving their actions toward manipulating events from within the games. This ambition placed them in direct conflict with Fairy Tail and other light-affiliated guilds participating in the competition. Ultimately, their role served as a bridge between the Grand Magic Games arc and the Tartaros saga.

Their defeat marked a significant turning point, revealing deeper conspiracies involving the Alvarez Empire and artificial creation of humans. While dissolved after their failure, their legacy lingered through the revelations about Ivan’s true nature and his connection to the eternal curse.
