Dragon Force is an advanced Dragon Slayer ability and the final, most powerful state a Dragon Slayer can attain, granting them power comparable to that of a real Dragon. When entering this state, Dragon Slayers undergo a temporary Dragonization process, gaining reptilian scales and traits. Dragon Force greatly increases the damage of standard spells, grants access to more powerful attacks, and drastically enhances physical prowess, speed, and Magic Power, which becomes visible in the shape of a Dragon. It is possible to use Dragon Force without physical draconic changes with enough control, and the form can be further empowered by combining with other Dragon Modes.

Fire users may see flames consume their skin, while others might develop physical scales or shifts in eye color that match their affinity. Acnologia, a Dragon Slayer who permanently transformed into a dragon by consuming dragons and their magic, has been shown using Dragon Force in the canon, specifically during his battle with the Dragon Slayers on Tenrou Island. Ordinary Dragon Slayers access this state only temporarily. For them, it remains an intense, taxing condition triggered by extreme emotion or magic absorption rather than a permanent transformation.
