The Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc is a story arc of the Dragon Ball Super manga, which continued with original arcs after the anime ended. It follows the events of the film Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Moro is a magical being millennia old who destroyed countless planets by absorbing their life energy, until the Great Lord of Lords sealed his magic. The Galactic Patrol, a cosmic police force, inducts Goku and Vegeta as temporary members to recapture him after he escapes.
Reader's Guide
Toyotarou wanted Moro to be truly evil, like Piccolo Daimao in the original Dragon Ball, and gave him goat features, a common Western demon motif, and clothes inspired by shinigami. An anime adaptation, Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, was announced on January 25, 2026.
Moro heads to New Namek to use the Namekian Dragon Balls. Goku and Vegeta follow him there, but he defeats them and Majin Buu by draining their life energy. The Galactic Patrol, with its highly skilled agent Merus, awakens old memories in Buu as the fight goes on.
