He and the Zamasu of Future Trunks' timeline set out to exterminate all mortal life, believing that this would bring about a utopia. His transformation into Super Saiyan Rosé allowed him to push his power beyond conventional limits, forcing Goku and Vegeta to fuse just to survive.

Goku Black is a complex antagonist defined by the duality of his existence: the divine arrogance of Zamasu trapped within the physical vessel of Goku. He can transform into Super Saiyan Rosé, a state that grants him overwhelming speed and energy manipulation, often surpassing the standard Super Saiyan forms. Defining moments include his alliance with the Zamasu of Future Trunks' timeline and their Potara fusion into the even more powerful Fused Zamasu. He is finally stopped when Goku summons the future Grand Zeno, who erases Fused Zamasu together with the future timeline.

Did You Know?

• Goku Black is actually Zamas, a Lord of Worlds in Universe 10 and apprentice Lord of Lords, who killed his teacher and used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku and killed him.
• He traveled in time to Future Trunks' timeline and killed the remaining Lords of Lords, which in turn killed the Gods of Destruction.
• The Zamas of Trunks' timeline used the Dragon Balls to make himself immortal and teamed up with Goku Black.
• They eventually fused into one immortal body they called God Zamas.
• Goku Black and God Zamas were destroyed when Goku summoned the Zenō-sama of Trunks' timeline, who destroyed the entire universe.
