Electrochemistry is a Physique skill in Disco Elysium that stands for the detective's animal appetite for pleasure. It lets him take drugs with fewer side effects and helps him make sense of chemical matters, people who are high, and sexual dynamics. A high score protects him from the harm of drugs and gives him knowledge of them, but it can also pull him into substance abuse and self-destructive behaviour; with a low score the city's vices stay hard to read.
