P.J. Carlesimo is an American former basketball coach and television broadcaster. He served as head coach of four NBA teams and interim head coach of another, and was named Seton Hall University's 'Coach of the Century'.

Carlesimo coached Seton Hall from 1982 to 1994, leading the Pirates to their first Final Four in 1989 and the NCAA championship game. He was an assistant coach for the 1992 Olympic 'Dream Team' and won three NBA championships as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs (2003, 2005, 2007). He was interim head coach of the Brooklyn Nets from December 27, 2012, until May 5, 2013.
