Format
Two teams, each composed of one celebrity and one contestant, competed. The goal was to correctly identify words based on videotaped definitions given by primary school-age children. The game consisted of four rounds. In the first round, a word was shown to the home audience and a video clip of a child defining that word was played, with any incriminating words censored. The team in control guessed after the clip; a correct answer earned 15 points. If wrong, the opponents saw a clip of another child defining the same word for 10 points. If they also missed, control returned to the first team for a final clip worth 5 points. If still incorrect, Aspel announced the answer and no points were awarded. This round continued with teams alternating control until time was called. In the second round, each team, starting with the trailing team, had 45 seconds to guess as many words as possible, with up to three definitions per word, each correct response earning 10 points. The third round gave the team in control three consecutive video clips of children defining one word; a correct guess was worth 50 points. If wrong, the opponents could guess for the same value. If both failed, Aspel gave the answer. Each team played one word in this round. In the fourth round, both teams could interrupt a video clip by buzzing in to guess the word. A correct answer earned 20 points; an incorrect guess allowed the opponent to see the rest of the clip before guessing. Play continued until time was called. The leading team at the end won a prize package. A tie resulted in one additional word being played.
