Plot

After nearly drowning in his pool, BoJack Horseman was saved by the people who had moved into his old house. His acting career came to a halt when a conviction for breaking and entering landed him a 14-month sentence in a maximum-security prison. A year later, he received a furlough and was picked up by Mr. Peanutbutter to attend the wedding of Princess Carolyn and Judah. On the way to buy a suit, BoJack admitted that his prison time covered "kind of for everything" he had done over the years. Mr. Peanutbutter then drove him to the Griffith Observatory, where he officially returned the 'D' to the Hollywoo sign to celebrate the success of his show Birthday Dad. However, a mix-up meant he had commissioned a 'B' instead, turning "Hollywoo" into "Hollywoob."

At the wedding reception, Todd found BoJack and asked him to go to the beach. He wanted to sit on BoJack's shoulders for a better view, explaining that BoJack looked overwhelmed and a walk might help. They watched the fireworks together. BoJack told Todd he felt comfortable in jail, staying out of trouble and beating his sobriety record. Todd argued that once his sentence was over, he just needed to set a new record every day. BoJack was amused, unsure if Todd was being stupid or smart. Todd cheerfully admitted he never knew, adding that his brief moment of metaphorical intelligence was nice while it lasted, and BoJack agreed.

Later, BoJack congratulated Princess Carolyn on the reception. She told him that Hollywoob was waiting for his comeback with The Horny Unicorn, and assured him people might give him another chance. BoJack asked her to dance, confessing he had fantasized about convincing her to call off the wedding. Princess Carolyn assured him she did not need convincing and was happy with her choice. BoJack told her she deserved to be happy and asked if she would represent him if he decided to return to the business. She smiled and instead offered to recommend some excellent people. BoJack smiled back as they continued dancing.
