Background
Dr. Champ, a therapy horse voiced by Sam Richardson and himself a former alcoholic, treats BoJack there; "Dr." is his first name, so he is not a licensed doctor, and he tries to get BoJack to open up while BoJack deflects with jokes. After six months he urges BoJack to leave, but BoJack stays to care for him when he relapses after unwittingly drinking from BoJack's vodka-filled water bottle, and checks him into a different rehab center. The pop star Joey Pogo is introduced when he is set to replace BoJack in Pastiches' "fancy room", though he checks out almost immediately.
