Reincarnation Magic

Reincarnation Magic is a forbidden form of magic in Black Clover that revives the souls of the dead inside the bodies of the living. Its known users are Patolli and Zagred, and casting it takes a large amount of mana and a sacrifice. While a reincarnated soul is in control, red tattoos appear on the host's face and change as its hold grows firmer, and they do not always fade once the spell is removed. Reincarnated souls suffer from wicked hearts that magnify hatred and despair, which makes elves more likely to become dark elves, and a soul that has gone through two reincarnation spells keeps hold of a soulless body even when the magic is dispelled.
