Anti Magic

Anti Magic (Anchi Mahō) is an energy in Black Clover that can nullify other forms of magic. It comes from the devil connected to Asta's grimoire, Liebe, and its users are Asta and Liebe. It can block attack spells, break through defensive spells and cancel magical afflictions that were set in advance, such as curses and traps, but using it to its full potential takes Anti Magic Weapons, which are kept inside a grimoire: the Demon-Slayer Sword, the Demon-Dweller Sword, the Demon-Destroyer Sword and the Demon-Slasher Katana.

Because Anti Magic pushes against any mana and magic it touches, as a rule only someone with no magic power can wield it, although the Demon-Dweller Sword can give magic it has drawn from allies the same nullifying property and can share Anti Magic with allies while still letting them use their own magic. Although it is the opposite of magic, Anti Magic can be used like magic to copy certain techniques, as when Asta performs Zetten or imitates Mana Skin with it.

It cannot be copied by Imitation Magic but can be duplicated by Mirror Magic. Its main counter is attacks or objects that are not magic, and physical attacks reinforced with magic can also get around it, though at its peak Anti Magic cancels the force and magic of even the strongest reinforced physical attacks on contact with the attacker's body.
