Elf Reincarnation Arc

The Elf Reincarnation Arc is the eighth arc of Yuki Tabata's Black Clover, covering chapters 150 to 228 and anime episodes 96 to 157. Reincarnation Magic brings back the souls of the elves inside the bodies of Clover Kingdom mages, among them Luck Voltia of the Black Bull, and the elves turn on the kingdom. The Magic Knights fight them across the capital and around Clover Castle, then storm the Shadow Palace, the border between the living world and the afterlife, where a devil waits on the final floor. Lemiel, the first Wizard King, and Secre free the elf leader Licht, and after the battle Asta's Demon-Destroyer Sword undoes the reincarnation on Patolli, waking William Vangeance, and on the other rampaging elves. The arc closes with the trial of the devils, the Black Bull's mission to the Heart Kingdom and six months of training as the Spade Kingdom's Dark Triad moves.
