Upgrade
A techno-organic alien who takes over machines.
Upgrade is one of Ben Tennyson's Omnitrix transformations, a Galvanic Mechamorph. He is a techno-organic, blob-like humanoid from the moon Galvan B, and his main ability is taking possession of technology. He debuts in the original series episode "Permanent Retirement".

Lore & Background
The Galvanic Mechamorphs come from Galvan B, which Malware destroys in Omniverse. In the original series Ben merges with a computer as Upgrade and later uses the form to build a makeshift rocket to reach a space station. In the 2016 reboot he uses Upgrade to enhance the Omnitrix itself, which removes the form from the watch, unlocks Shock Rock and creates Glitch, a fusion of Ben's and Upgrade's DNA. Tara Strong voices Upgrade in the original series, Yuri Lowenthal in Omniverse and David Sobolov in the reboot.
