Score Saver

Lore & Background

The mod serves as a personal archive of player achievement, allowing users to review their own high scores on any song without relying on external servers. It fosters a self-contained competitive experience where players can track their progress over time, independent of official or global leaderboards. By focusing on local data, Score Saver ensures that scores remain accessible even without an internet connection.

Reader's Guide

To utilize Score Saver, players must first install the Beat Saber modding framework, typically using tools like BeatSaberModLoader or ZenModManager. Once the game is modded, the Score Saver mod integrates directly into the main menu, adding a new tab for browsing and managing content. The primary function of the tool is to facilitate the discovery and synchronization of custom maps. Users can search for songs by artist, title, or difficulty, download them instantly to their local library, and play them immediately upon returning to the game. After completing a song, the mod automatically uploads the score to the website, allowing players to compare their performance against global rankings. It provides charters with immediate feedback on their work and gives players access to an ever-expanding library that keeps the game fresh years after its initial release.
