Digital Extremes is developing and publishing Soulframe, a free-to-play action role-playing massively multiplayer online game. Currently available on Microsoft Windows, the developers plan to release it on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 after its alpha phase.

Status
Soulframe is available through its pre-alpha version, Soulframe Preludes, which was initially invite-only. It opened to the public twice during TennoCon in July 2025 and 2026 for users who signed up that week. Access is also granted via weekly email invitations to 2,000 randomly selected invitees and through Twitch Drops. The latest major update, Preludes 15: Gods & Ghosts, launched on June 10, 2026.
Development
Digital Extremes, the Canadian studio behind Warframe, is developing Soulframe. The game was first shown with a cinematic trailer at TennoCon in July 2022. On November 25, 2025, the Founders program began, offering bundles that grant access to Preludes and exclusive in-game items. This program is expected to continue through later in 2026 and will be available at the console release.
