Gameplay
The player controls the character with an eight-way joystick and three action buttons for attacking, jumping, and a special attack that destroys all on-screen enemies, which has limited uses and cannot be fully replenished until a life is lost. The character can climb walls and ceilings, and attacks primarily with kicks that can slice through enemy soldiers. Pressing down and jump initiates a slide; during a slide, the attack button performs a slide kick, while the jump button allows grabbing and flipping certain enemies. Dashing is possible by holding left or right after sliding. Four types of power-up capsules are retrieved from floating containers. Red capsules increase attack power by creating body images that mimic movement; the character's pants color indicates the level: blue (starting), purple (one image), red (two images), white (four images), and black (increased attack range). Taking damage reduces attack power by one level. Green capsules restore one health point, yellow capsules increase maximum health by one, and blue capsules restore full health.
Osman (Kirin)
Kirin, originally planned to be called Killing and then Osman in the English script, is an elite fighter of the mercenary unit Teki. He is a top-class hand-to-hand combat expert who has mastered a secret martial art, holding the title of the strongest Teki. Silent and stoic, he is strongly loyal but reveals a violent and vengeful side when betrayed.
Story
Set in a dystopian late-21st century under a single federal government, a threat called Abdullah the Slaver, an evil sorceress, causes widespread terror and economic collapse. Judicial Affairs Director Jack Layzon summons a lone assassin. The player controls Osman (Kirin), a top-class Teki agent and martial artist, who travels toward the Federal Capital in Prague. He must face Abdullah, government forces, and other Teki members who want him dead. Osman is hired by Layzon to reclaim a city from the cult Slaver, which worships a "God without form." After infiltrating the cult's temple, Layzon appears with police, arrests the cultists, and betrays Osman by having the police attack him, leaving him chained to a rock formation in a desert.
