Ursus
Ursus, formally the Empire of Ursus, is a Terran country located at the furthest north of the continent.[1] It is the largest country in Terra and borders Kazimierz, Victoria, Leithanien, Sami, Higashi, and Yan.[1] The nation is known for its military might, the physical prowess of its Ursine inhabitants, and its militarist and xenophobic attitudes.[1] Ursus is infamous for its cruel treatment of the Infected, who are sent to Originium mining camps for forced labor.[1]
The Tsar serves as the head of state in Ursus, an imperial monarchy whose capital is Deity Grypherburg.[1][2]

Hippogryph Dynasty
Igor the Great led a violent revolution that toppled the Hippogryph dynasty, after which he became the first Tsar and founded Ursus.[3]
Bloodpeak Campaign
The failed Bloodpeak Campaign against Higashi in 1072 marked a turning point that ended Ursus's expansionism.[4]
The Great Rebellion
A civil war called the Great Rebellion occurred between 1074 and 1076, weakening the military and leading to purges of high-ranking officers.[5]
Civil unrests
Around summer 1101, the Kolossal Prime Vein, Terra's largest Originium Prime Vein, began to shrink drastically, which put economic pressure on Ursus.[6]
Settlements
Notable settlements include Chernobog, Bresk, Deity Grypherburg, and the abandoned city of Simonch.[7]
Trivia
The Ursine coat of arms features a double-headed eagle, a common heraldic symbol of imperial power.[8]
