Sabotage
Lights out, oxygen failing, and a killer in the dark.
Sabotage is the Impostors' tool for disrupting the map in Among Us. Impostors cannot do tasks, but they can sabotage systems, from minor problems such as cutting the lights, which limits Crewmates' vision, to critical ones such as disabling the oxygen generators.

Lore & Background
Critical sabotages need immediate repair by the Crewmates to prevent their deaths. If a critical system is not fixed in time, the Impostors win the game.
Reader's Guide
In the Hide and Seek mode, added in December 2022, Impostors cannot sabotage at all.
Dead Impostors keep their sabotage: as ghosts they can still sabotage, even though living players can no longer see them.
