Crewmate Tasks
Fix the wires, download the data, win the game.
Tasks are the Crewmates' work in Among Us. At the start of a game each Crewmate is given tasks around the map: minigames, small puzzles and simple toggles, mostly maintenance on vital systems such as fixing wires and downloading data. Finishing every task wins the game for the Crewmates.

Lore & Background
Impostors get a fake task list and cannot complete tasks, but they can pretend to. Visual tasks, such as the medbay scan on The Skeld, show an animation others can see, so they let a Crewmate prove their role. Crewmate ghosts can keep doing tasks.
Reader's Guide
Before each game the host can change the number of tasks and visual tasks. In Hide and Seek, doing tasks runs down the timer.
A July 7, 2021 update added Clean Vent, a task that stops Impostors from using the vent being cleaned. In October 2020, colorblind support for the wires task came to the Steam beta.
