The Engineer is a Crewmate role in Among Us. Engineers can move through the vents the way Impostors do, but only to a limited extent.
Lore & Background
The role arrived in the major update of November 9, 2021, together with the Scientist, Shapeshifter and Guardian Angel. Because Engineers can vent too, seeing a player use a vent no longer proves that they are an Impostor when Engineers are in the game.
