The contestants were split into two groups: the "kittens" (women in their 20s) and the "cougars" (women in their late 30s to late 40s). Each week, Philippoussis took one or two women on a private date. At the end of each episode, he asked all but one woman if they would continue seeing him; the rejected woman was eliminated. This continued until one woman remained. For the season finale, the final three contestants flew to Philippoussis' hometown of Melbourne, Australia, to meet his family.
Contestants
Megan was chosen for the final three but refused to fly to Australia for the finale due to a fear of flying, eliminating herself. Maria, shown in Episodes 4 and 6 as considering leaving, told Mark in Episode 7 that she thought the relationship would not work, eliminating herself. One contestant was in her 40s, another in her 20s. One contestant won the competition. One was eliminated by Mark. One quit the competition. One was automatically eliminated due to her fear of flying.
Outcome
After the final episode, Philippoussis declined to comment on the relationship's outcome, saying he was concentrating on tennis. In a November 28 radio interview in Australia, he stated he was currently single. In February 2008 he was seen with model Siobhan Parekh. In 2009 it was revealed that Salinas and Philippoussis had stayed together for five months after the show, splitting amicably in September 2007.
