Characters

Dumbo, voiced by Katie Leigh, is the star of the circus and is known as the "World's Only Flying Elephant." He still relies on his magic feather to help him fly and often pulls the Circus wagon through the sky. Dumbo frequently breaks the fourth wall to address viewers, and his memory is very good, his hearing sharp, and his sneezes strong enough to cause wind. Unlike in the original 1941 film, he can now speak. Lionel, performed by Sharon Baird and voiced by Jim Cummings, is a high-pitched Brooklyn-accented lion who serves as Dumbo's right-hand partner, popcorn vendor, and ticket taker. He has a knot in his tail and wears a blue uniform, inspired by Timothy Q. Mouse from the 1941 film. Lionel says goodbye to viewers at the end of several episodes. Sebastian, voiced by Walker Edmiston, is a purple alley cat who usually handles janitorial duties and enjoys napping. He sometimes tricks others into doing his work, and in the sideshow he uses a ventriloquism dummy named Sly. Sebastian joined Dumbo and Lionel because Dumbo's mother promised Sebastian's mother he could travel with them. Fair Dinkum, called Dink for short, is a koala ringmaster performed by Patty Maloney and voiced by Hal Smith. He speaks with an Australian accent and is afraid of heights and drowning. His name comes from the Australian phrase "fair dinkum," and he was the first to join Dumbo, Lionel, and Sebastian when they started out.
