Barry Hulshoff
Dutch defender who won three European Cups with Ajax.
Barry Hulshoff, born Bernardus Adriaan Hulshoff on 30 September 1946, was a Dutch defender who played for Ajax Amsterdam and MVV. He was a key figure in Ajax’s three consecutive European Cup titles in 1971, 1972, and 1973, and also represented the Netherlands national team 14 times. Following his playing days, Hulshoff managed Ajax for a single season before taking charge of several clubs in Belgium. He passed away on 16 February 2020.

Background
Hulshoff won the Eredivisie with Ajax in 1965–66, 1966–67, 1967–68, 1969–70, 1971–72, and 1972–73. He won the KNVB Cup in 1966–67, 1969–70, 1970–71, and 1971–72. He won the European Cup in 1970–71, 1971–72, and 1972–73. He also won the European Super Cup in 1972 and 1973, and the Intercontinental Cup in 1972. Individually, he was named in the World XI in 1973 and the Sport Ideal European XI in 1973.
