That album was released through Octone Records and Polydor Records on September 2, 2008. It is the only album to feature Deuce as a member of the band, as he departed in 2009 due to creative differences. The album was originally supposed to come out on MySpace Records in 2007, but the label asked for songs to be removed and censored; the band declined and switched to Octone. Background
Swan Songs was the band's debut, featuring singles like "Everywhere I Go" (a web single available only on iTunes) and music videos for "No. 5," "Undead," "Young," and "Everywhere I Go." When purchased through Amazon.com and some other retailers, the album included a bonus track and an option to unlock music videos. The song "Undead" appeared in the video games UFC Undisputed 2009 and Madden NFL 09, while "Young" was downloadable content for Rock Band 2. The album received mixed reviews; Dave Donnelly of AllMusic gave it 2 out of 5 stars, calling it "ironic frat-boy party rap" and citing "Everywhere I Go" and "No. 5" as examples.
