League of Legends
From the 2018 LCS franchise to the 2021 championship and the 2025 exit.
100 Thieves was accepted as a franchise organisation for the 2018 NA LCS season on November 20, 2017. In its inaugural year the team beat Clutch Gaming 3–2 in the playoffs before being swept 0–3 by Team Liquid in the final; its second-place finish earned a place at Rift Rivals 2018, and its results across both splits qualified it for the 2018 World Championship in South Korea as North America's second seed.
Lore & Background
The 2021 season began with the signing of Can 'Closer' Çelik, Victor 'FBI' Huang, Tanner 'Damonte' Damonte and the returning Huhi from Golden Guardians. That year 100 Thieves beat Cloud9 3–1 in the losers' bracket and then swept Team Liquid 3–0 to win the 2021 LCS Championship and qualify for Worlds. For 2023 the team released everyone but Closer, signed Doublelift and Bjergsen and promoted Alan 'Busio' Cwalina and Tenacity; after a quick spring playoff exit Bjergsen retired, and Jang 'Cain' Nu-ri became head coach with Lim 'Quid' Hyeon-seung at mid.
On October 31, 2024, the organisation said it intended to sell its LCS slot, but it stayed in the reformed League of Legends Championship of The Americas as a provisional guest partner for 2025. In July 2025 it announced it would leave after the season, and its withdrawal followed a loss to T1 at the 2025 World Championship.
