Vandal Savage's secret society.

The Light is the secret society behind the villains of Young Justice, created by Vandal Savage in an attempt to improve humanity. Its members see superheroes as interfering with the natural order and believe Earth must follow survival of the fittest to thrive. Its Zeta Beam designations carry the letter L.

Its members include Savage, Klarion the Witch Boy, Lex Luthor, Queen Bee and Ra's al Ghul; Ocean Master is replaced by Black Manta after the first season, and Granny Goodness takes Black Manta's place in the third. Hugo Strange, Sportsmaster and Professor Ivo work as its operatives and associates. Savage also forms a partnership with Darkseid and Apokolips to conquer the galaxy.
