Lore & Background

In Young Justice, Kaldur'ahm is voiced by Khary Payton. In the first season he is the Team's 16-year-old leader, who intends to hand leadership to Robin when he is ready. His powers come through the tattoos on his arms, a mix of Atlantean sorcery and science: super strength, durability, breathing and speaking underwater, hard-water constructs from his water-bearers, and electricity. He is Black Manta's son, and Artemis goes undercover with him inside Manta's organization. By the third season he has become Aquaman and co-leads the Justice League with Wonder Woman. Garth, voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, is his best friend.
