Angels in the Court comprises the first two episodes of the four-episode direct-to-video anime series Court no Naka no Tenshi-tachi, produced by Pink Pineapple. NuTech Digital acquired the licenses for these episodes around May 2001 and released them separately on VHS and DVD, later bundling them into a DVD box set from November 2001 onward. The English dubs featured the voices of Brooke Haven and Shayla LaVeaux.

The anime follows the plot of the original visual novel, centering on Oh Motoura, a former national men's volleyball player who becomes coach of the girls' volleyball team at Aota Academy. The story explores his developing romantic relationships with the team members. The localized episodes did not contain an opening animation; the ending credits used the song "Koi no Super Ace" performed by Mari Adachi and Mie Sonozaki.
