TSM won the Intel Extreme Masters Season IX Katowice World Finals, defeating Team WE 3-0. Winning the 2015 Spring LCS granted them an invitation to the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational, where TSM finished 5th. In the 2015 Summer split, TSM finished 2nd, defeated by Counter Logic Gaming in the playoffs. At the 2015 World Championship, TSM placed fourth in Group D (the 'Group of Death') and was unable to progress. After TSM's last game against LGD, Dyrus retired and received a standing ovation.
